Actually, they haven't so much re-formed as reformed, so their gig will be of a rather penitential nature, in kind memory of all those monitors (not of the scaly, four-legged variety) that they have hacked to pieces in previous 'on-stage benders' (Daily Scum).
Catch them if you can - the venue for the gig and other relevant details (such as blood-type) are available to all those who can hack into the deeply hidden treasure-chest, just waiting to be found by the lucky few at www.beatcrazedboffins.org.uk/timian...

Surely this can't be the original Boffins line-up from the era of the 'Test-Tube Bastards' album?
I heard that Tim and Ian hadn't spoken since the jail-break, and Peagle has supposedly been brain-dead for decades.
Maybe it's a line-up consisting only of the Sinuous Dancers from the 'Left Hand Drivel' tour ... I'd fly over for that, except they're probably all grannies by now.
More info, please!
I don't know if this is a coy line in fishing, but, it must be said - stating a mere equality! - that a press embargo is a press embargo, and I have reason to believe that Monsieur Anonymous knows about such litigious matters. (MF v. RPC, oder?)
Of course, I can agree that there is little less superficial than Test-Tube Bastards (although the tribute album Best Lube Car Starts does entertain), but the Peagle story is mere fancy, as is the allegation that seeking to free Gary Glitter was anything other than daring and courageous and - to repeat the phrase inanely - did anything other than enhance the Boffins' then reputation.
As for the Insidious Prancers, I am - and I mean it - sworn to silence by oaths too terrible to contemplate without eating an addled egg first.
I will say no more: Timian knows all, and it's up to him whether he's telling...
I think there are probably legions of BCB fans who would willingly send you an addled egg, if it would aid disclosure.
Be it said that they might transmit to me, in analogue or virtual wise, any number of such eggs, but doing so would only have me contemplate more intently - and, indeed, intensely - the reasons, more curious than The Mysteries of Udolpho, and more frightening than Don't be Afraid of the Dark (2010), why I can say no more.
