Fighting sleep-deprivation, and simultaneously indicted and thus not wanting or able to concentrate, watching the new McDonagh* at #CFF41 definitely gave the promised existential crisis.

* Martin - it was John Michael McDonagh who directed Calvary (2014) (and The Guard (2011)).

Not that novels such as Pilgermann (1983) or Fremder (1996) aren't also great - the dance of those themes is as much in or around them (or Riddley), too, with waves that are particles or fragments or remnants, and particles that are also waves and seas and all varieties of water.
